Jared L. Valanzola

Plymouth County Commissioner Jared L. Valanzola was elected November 3, 2020 and sworn in on January 6, 2021. Commissioner Valanzola is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Kingston, Massasoit Community College in Brockton, and Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater.

Jared ValanzolaA lifelong resident of Rockland, Commissioner Valanzola has served in many civic and charitable capacities there, including Clerk of the Planning Board (2015-2021), Chairman of the Charter Maintenance Committee (2019-2021), member of the School Building (2006-2015), Elementary School Building Committees (2017-present), Grand Knight of the Rockland Knights of Columbus and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Plymouth County Commissioners.  Lastly, you can hear him live every Wednesday night on WATD from 6:15-7 PM as host of the JV Team. 

Professionally, Commissioner Valanzola has worked in sales, real estate, and at the State House in the Massachusetts State Senate. He has traveled extensively to Paul McCartney shows, and once had the honor of meeting him. An avid sports fan, Commissioner Valanzola has Red Sox and Buccaneers season tickets, and also attended Super Bowl LI, when the Patriots completed the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history and the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead.
