RFP-Parking Lot Paving and Resurfacing Project-Plymouth, MA

Plymouth County is issuing an RFP for a sealed bid to cold plane, mill, patch, clean, level, and install 1.5" of bituminous concrete asphalt including all paving in and around the Plymouth County Administration Building, 44 Obery St., Plymouth, MA, consistent with the current footprint, repainted to the same specifications as they currently exist. Contractor will be responsible for measuring/verifying designated area. The RFP can be responded to by qualified contractors, as defined by the  provisions of the RFP.  A bid bond, cash, or certified check of five (5) percent is required at bid.  Successful bidder must provide a 50% Payment bond.  No Performance Bond is required.

The County does not have any engineering documents or other plans for the designated areas.  Onsite visit at the Plymouth County Administration Building, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 1:30 p.m.

Request for Proposal may be obtained by emailing Frank Basler at fbasler@plymouthcountyma.gov beginning Wednesday, April 24, 2024.  Plymouth County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals that do not meet the requirements set forth in the RFP or are not in the best interests of the County, such determination to be made at the sole discretion of the Plymouth County Commissioners.  This is a prevailing wage project.  Please see the RFP for all pertinent details.

Sealed responses clearly labeled "Plymouth County Administration Building Parking Lot Pavement Resurfacing Project RFP" are due before Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. as per the RFP details. Plymouth County reserved the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any defects, informalities, and minor irregularities; and to award contracts or cancel this RFP if it is in the County's best interest to do so.  Plymouth County encourages MBE and WBE firms to apply.  This is a prevailing wage project.
