FY23 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program

The City of Brockton is eligible for $76,181.00, the Town of Middleborough is eligible for $10,580.00, the Town of Plymouth is eligible for $19,508.00, and the Town of Wareham is eligible for $11,129.00 in grant funding from the FY23 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program funds from Dept. of Justice/Bureau of Justice Assistance. 

Byrne Grant JAG funds awarded to a city or town under this FY 2023 solicitation may be used to provide additional personnel, equipment, supplies, contractual support, training, technical assistance, and information systems for criminal justice, including any one or more of the following:

  • Advancing Justice System Reform Efforts;
  • Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities;u
  • Preventing and Combating Hate Crimes;
  • Crime and Violence Reduction Strategies; and
  • Community Based Violence Intervention (CVI) Approaches.
