Sandra M. Wright

Sandra WrightMrs. Wright was born and raised in Brockton and later moved to Bridgewater where she and her husband Noel raised their three children. Commissioner Wright has a long history of civic and municipal experience and both she and her husband are active members of the community.

She served as an elected member of the Bridgewater Board of Health from 2003 until she was elected to serve on the Bridgewater Town Council from 2012-2014. She was elected as Plymouth County Commissioner in 2010, and re-elected in 2014, 2018, and 2022.

In addition, Commissioner Wright has a long and diversified history in the private sector. Sandra Wright has over 20 years experience in the medical field in program and service coordination and senior office management with oversight over policies, procedures and staff training. She also counts 18 years of service in the ER at Good Samaritan Hospital and 15 years as a Fire Fighter EMT instructor at Mass Maritime Academy and as an instructor for the National Safety Council in water survival and rescue. She is also an independent businesswoman in the energy services arena.

Commissioner Wright has also served as an elected member of the Plymouth County Charter Commission.
